Lakes Region Area Activities The area is inspiring for its simplicity, and while many who visit choose to be inactive, there are many opportunities for the active, as well. Although known worldwide as a summer resort area, and a destination for Fall foliage viewing, the Central New Hampshire Lakes Region offers our bed and breakfast guests an unlimited variety of cultural and outdoor activities in every season of the year.
Many of the guests at our NH B&B tell us that they come back year after year for the cultural and scenic opportunities offered by the Squam Lakes (made famous by movie makers as Golden Pond) and White Mountain regions of New Hampshire. Winter
sports are a real treat in the White Mountains and Lakes Region
of New Hampshire. There is nothing like settling down in our homey
sitting room with a cup of hot chocolate after
an afternoon of skating, or skiing (downhill or cross country)
or taking a horse drawn sleigh ride.
